Hope you’ve all had a relaxing weekend!
I’ve been busy working on those much needed chores, {got that fridge cleaned out, and I do feel so much better!}
I have more purging to do this week, tackling the cupboards, and two country shelves here in my kitchen that I need to
go through and organize, and I’m getting ready for another craft show this upcoming weekend, then I’m off until March
with every weekend solidly booked!
Since my guys were gone for the weekend, I spent this morning reading the word,
and then sitting at my Lord’s feet, just listening, before I began my day.
What a wonderful place to be….in His presence!
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fullness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore”. {Psalm 16:11}
His word truly is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. {Psalm 119:105}
There are so many hidden treasures buried in the Scriptures!
All we have to do is just ask that He give us a greater understanding as we read,
and a heart that is teachable, and open, to what He wants us to know.
As we read His word, and open our hearts to Him, we truly are changed,
and transformed into His likeness!
His Word is alive, growing us up in Him!Therein lies endless treasures for each of us….
…forgiveness and mercy for when we stumble,
…unconditional, everlasting love,
…rest for the weary,
…living waters for the thirsty,
…perfect peace for a hectic day,
…faith for a fearful heart,
…provision for our needs,
…His strength for our weakness,
…His perfect will for every step we take!
“Those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing”. {Psalm 34:10}

Hi Deborah! Go Dungy! I just read his testimony at http://www.suffering.net/dungtest.htm .
I love what you said in your last post about being in Him. Last year I taught Eph 1 to the ladies at church and during my months of preparation for that, I focused alot on being in Him. What a blessing! “In Him” is mentioned like 269 times in the Bible – check out a few of the cross references, if you haven’t yet! 16 of those times are in just Eph 1 & 2. It’s a concept that on the surface seems so intangible, but so is faith. And then once The Holy Spirit illuminates it to us, as we read the Word, we see it all over! At the time, I read a sermon by Martin-Lloyd Jones called In the Beloved. I tried searching for it just now to give you the link, but I can’t find it. If you want, try looking for it. If you can find it, it was amazing. (It was a long article.)
I hope you have good travel weather for your craft shows. It’s been so cold here in NJ, even the salt water inlet was frozen when I drove past this morning on the way to work. It’s 21 right now going down to 13 tonite! Brrr!
Keep warm! ~Pam
