    Pic Scriptue In Quietness

Trust Him when dark doubts assail thee,
Trust Him when thy strength is small,
Trust Him when to simply trust Him
Seems the hardest thing of all.

Trust Him, He is ever faithful,
Trust Him, for his will is best,
Trust Him, for the heart of Jesus
Is the only place of rest.

We often think of great faith as something that happens spontaneously
so that we can be used for a miracle or healing.
However, the greatest faith of all, and the most effective, is to live day by day trusting Him.
It is trusting Him so much that we look at every problem as an opportunity to see His work in our life.
It is not worrying, but rather trusting and abiding in the peace of God
that will crush anything that Satan tries to do to us.
If the Lord created the world out of chaos,
He can easily deal with any problem that we have.

Prayer Request:  Please do keep Ian in your prayers …
I heard from him late last night … and we are a bit concerned …
the fires are in the next valley over from him,
and he has a bag packed and ready to go in case there are evacuations.
Thank you all so much … I will keep you posted.
    Blessings on your Saturday!

    Hugs ~ Deborah <><

  • Your new look is lovely.

I will pray for Ian. I know that makes you anxious to hear.

I still love coming here and hearing Jim Brickman… :)

  • :sunny:love your new look….very nice and peaceful
Love love love the video you sent me….funny yes and very true…when will the “big wigs” ever learn….but we are just sojourners here and all we can do is just pray that it is not toooo much longer.

My prayers are for Ian….when we were evacuated last October, they gave us plenty of time and a warning of things so the firemen and the police will let them all know in time…..but still you being away it DOES make it so much worse…Amy is over here friends house and they will be sheep shearing….she has never has done this so this mama is worried that her asthma will kick up….they will always be our babies no matter what age they are….LOL

  • :heartbeat: Hi Deborah ~ You all have my prayers.  Love ~Carolyn

  • That is NOT the kind of news we like to hear from our kids, is it? I do pray that God will keep him safe. Usually they are very good about evacuating people in plenty of time, but still, this is your boy, and I know you are concerned. ~~ I see you are all decorated for summer here, and it looks lovely! Hugs!

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
