In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. { Psalm 95:4-6 NIV }
The morning sun peeks over the hillside, laying golden streams across the treetops and fields. This is just one of the many scenes that draws my mind to God. The hymn writer writes, “I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder. Thy power throughout the universe displayed…” Many beautiful wonders surround us everyday. Yet there are times that God displays His wonders to us and it is truly breathtaking. And yet, none of those moments will hold a candle to the day we see God in His glory. At the instant our eyes behold Him, we will stand amazed. If, in that moment, I am able to speak, I imagine I might say something like, “Wow… Look at You… I had no idea…” Sometimes we take for granted the wonders of God’s creation. And often, throughout our living, we forget to consider the Glory of God. But a day will come when we will be faced with the most incredible experience we could ever know–the day we come into His Glory–the day we will truly stand amazed.
I hope everyone had a beautiful, blessed weekend, and Monday! The craft show was a bit slower than usual for this time of year, and we didn’t do quite as well, but I know the Lord still provides and meets our every need! It’s been absolutely beautiful here weather wise, with awesome sunrises and sunsets this weekend. I only wish I had taken my camera, especially this past Saturday morning. The sunrise was like none I’d ever seen before! Yesterday it’s got quite windy, overcast, and the temperatures have dropped considerably, so last night we turned on our heat for the first time this fall. Wasn’t it was nice getting an extra hour of time when we turned our clocks back this past Sunday morning? I still have a couple of clocks I need to change, and an extra watch! Yesterday, I mostly rested, and made lists of soap and candles to get together for another craft fair this coming Saturday. I’m thankful that this one is only for one day! Lewis took me to the chiropractor after he got off work, and I do feel better, other than my ears are ringing! Has anyone ever had that problem before?! Any solutions?! {One night last week, it was so loud, I couldn’t go to sleep! No fun!! And ear plugs certainly don’t help in this instance! Lol!!} It was so pretty driving around last night … it seemed to have cleared out with all the wind, and it felt so nice, with another beautiful sunset to end the day! On the way home, I stopped in at Cracker Barrel to pick up my black licorice (one of my favorite things that I treat myself to from time to time), and found some yummy cookies. I couldn’t resist … they are called Mom’s Apple Pie Cookies, and they go very nicely with a hot cup of tea! I highly recommend them … but I am going to try to find a recipe for homemade ones! {I’m still waiting on that White Chili recipe to share with you!}I did speak with Ian yesterday morning, and I have a prayer request from him … remember when his shoulder became dislocated awhile back, and I had asked for prayer then? Well, Sunday night he woke up, and it was out of joint again! It was quite sore when I spoke with him, so I’m asking prayer for healing for him. This is the fourth time it’s happened since he’s been there. He will be having x-rays when he comes home on the 20th to see just what may be going on, but in the meantime, he can’t lift any weight because it’s too painful for him. I know he appreciates your prayers! He is doing well other than that shoulder … Tim had a wonderful time here in Indy with his family, but unfortunately, we didn’t get to see him! Schedules didn’t allow it! He flew out yesterday morning, and is now back in California with Ian. I’m looking forward to seeing my son 2 weeks from today! I’ve got so much to do between now and then, plus we have a show every weekend until mid-December! I will be doing more visiting with you all later today, and catching up with what is going on in your lives. In the meantime, I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday, counting every blessing with a thankful heart!
Hugs,
~ Deborah <><

Yummy!!!!!!!! The cookies sound delicious!!! RYC: THose were people down on the rocks. I don’t know which would be harder–getting down there or getting back up. They were fishing. My son would have loved to go down there; but I nixed the idea as unsafe (I was wearing clogs). Thanks for stopping by. Your site is so beautiful these days. I love your chair…at the side. Hope Ian is feeling better. I know you can’t wait for the two weeks to pass so you can see him!!
Deborah,
Ian is in my prayers.

Dear Jesus, Heal Ian! Amen! :giggle: Poor guy. Will be prayin’.
Have a great night staying warm and toasty.
Poor Ian. That sounds painful. And I’m sure with is work that he is often carrying heavy equipment, so it is probably frustrating also. I definitely pray that it will heal quickly and quit popping out of joint!
I had a ‘thankful’ moment like you had with the sunrise today as well. I’ll have to blog about it tomorrow.
Have a great night.

I always love getting caught up with what is happening in your world, my friend. I certainly will pray for Ian. He should not have to be stuck with a bum shoulder at his age. We serve a mighty God! HUGS!
