  • A Burst of Spring! photo entry 3-30-08 sig rs

I’m just stopping in here real quick to say hi … I hope you’re all having a great weekend.  Ours started today (Friday) … we are at a three day show … and it was one long, slow day.  We were honestly glad to call it a day, get home, kick off our shoes, and put up our feet!   We are hoping that it’ll be busier the rest of the weekend.  We’ve had a beautiful day here, with temps in the 70′s, so I can’t blame anyone for wanting to be inside for any length of time!  Now, tomorrow it’s going to be a different story … with temps in the 40′s, and a possibility of showers, then on Sunday, maybe even some snow flurries!  This time of year, you just never know!

I would again, appreciate your prayers for my father-in-law, O.P..  They dealt with the pancreatitis well enough, but he is still in the hospital having physical therapy.  They have found out that he has been falling, so that is, very much, a concern.  We are hoping they will release him early this next week.  My brother-in-law is flying in from Utah at that time, too, and I know that will cheer him up.  It’ll cheer my hubby up as well, they are very close, and unfortunately they just live too far away from each other!  They’ll be spending alot of time together with Dad!  It’ll be good for them all.

Well, that’s about all for now … I’m missing being able to check in on everyone.  Maybe one day I’ll get a laptop and use it during the slow times at the shows!  Anyone out there have one that you take with you to use?  I sure could have used one today!  I’ll try to visit some during the evenings the rest of the weekend.  I hope the sun is shining, and the birds are singing where you are, and that your weekend is truly blessed!

    Animated Sun little Hugs,

    SCRIPTURE Commit thy works

    ~ Song of God’s Love ~

His song a gift of wonder

    In nature’s sound we share
    The glory of a symphony
    To give our heart repair

      In awe and inspiration
    As breezes softly flow
    We hear the gentle music
    Of nature’s finest show

He sings a song of God’s love
    With harmony and cheer
    Creating such a concert
For all the world to hear

    Such beauty in this magic
That gives us pause to say
    The chorus now performing
    God’s masterpiece each day.

  •  Thanks for stopping by. RYC:  I am indeed a Chef. I was before it was cool! It’s a long, rough road and requires a lot of lonnnnnnnng days. I love it and thankfully my wife is in the business, so understands the commitment.:fun:

  • Sorry to hear the first day of the show was long and slow. I hope the last two days picked up for you. I use to do a lot of craft shows when I sold Usborne books, my favorite part was the slow times and being able to fellowship with the other vendors. But of course if it is to slow then no money will be made.

  • Hi Deborah! I have not been over here in awhile!!! I love my lap top…in fact we are thinking about getting rid of the ancient desk top and just getting another lap top…makes more sense for us globe trotters. We had a beautiful long walk in the spring weather today and I saw a finch and was very excited about it. We live across from a wooded park but don’t see many birds becasue they are camoflaged and because there are so many cats.
One highlight of the wedding was that my husband got to spend time with his brother. Hope yours enjoys time with his!!!
Hope you sell loads of candles!!!!!!Love, Ana

  • We are having a sunny day today. It is a little cool, but very nice.

  • :heartbeat::sunny:Good Morning Sweet Deborah!………Hope you have a Busy and fast day!………………I have been so swamp at work that the OT will be nice but it is so tiring!  Counting all day and checking in merchandise……..I usually work from 6-2:45, M-F but this last week I have been there until at least 4:00:(………………Thank God I am off all next week! I plan on working in the yard and preparing my flower beds and planters for Spring!……….I had a weeks vacation left that needed to be taken by May 1st or I would loose it. So that was the only week open at the time! But Our Father is good, He knew what I was in for this last week!……….Praying for all of you! Hope your Day is Great! ((((((Hugs)))))))……………..In Christ’s love………Monic:heartbeat::wave:

  • I hope you have a much better day at the sale today. May God send you lots of people who want what you are selling! My exciting plans for the day are to tackle the laundry pile.  Because we have to take it all three flights down to the basement, I tend to put it off. Can’t do that anymore, or we will be in trouble! LOL! I am also supposed to drive to Skive for a concert this evening, but I think I will wait and see how my back feels after all the laundry is done. Blessings on your weekend, my friend! :sunny:

  • Hoping your show goes really well this weekend.  Will be praying for O.P.  There is nothing like family is there?  I was able to bake a cake for our son in law today and help our daughter with chores and the kids as she is down with a chest cold.  I am so glad we are close to do those things for them, it is such a blessings! It will be a rest day tomorrow and church on Sun.

There is glory in all he has created!  Praise God!  Blessing, Sharon

  • I will be praying for your FIL. Have a good weekend.

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
