What a blessing this weekend has been! I’ve had a wonderful 3 days of selling those ’bubbles’, and I want to thank you all so much for your comments, and your prayers! God heard, and answered! It did catch up with me today, though, and I’m feeling a bit tired, so I’ve mostly just been resting, and doing some visiting here in Xanga Land…or shall we call it Xangaville, or maybe even Xanga Town?!! Xanga Town kind of has a ring to it don’t ya think! We ought to take a vote on it! Okay, just vote on your comment!
A. Xanga Land
B. Xangaville
C. Xanga Town
D. Boy, can you tell I’m tired! Lol!!
Now, I hava a little something exciting to share. Well, at least some valuable information that you might want to keep handy! Have you ever had to call a company, any company for any reason, only to get those lovely ‘non-human’ recordings, then having to sit and wait, and wait, until you finally get to where you’re needing to be, and still there’s no real person to talk to? Do you ever get frustrated and just want to hang up and forget about it all? Well, I have the answer! My sweet brother sent me a link that has just about every number and technique to use to by-pass those lovely ‘non-human’ recordings and will get you to a real human voice! Let me know if this helps any of you! I’ve used it a few times, and it works for those companies that I’ve had to call! And, of course, it’s called, ‘Get Human’!
http://www.gethuman.com/us/I hope you’ve all had a great weekend! Did anyone see, or are you going to see the total lunar eclipse? It hasn’t happened here yet, and I’m hoping to get up in a little while to see it! I’d like to get some photos of it, too! This one is to last about an hour and a half! Ian and I saw one a while back, and we were fascinated! It was really beautiful! I hope I can wake up in time!
And speaking of pictures, I have a photo hanging in BetsaflyGallery again this week! The theme is ‘Hills & Mountains’, and you’ll find many beautiful photos of them there! And, if any of you have a picture of either of those, you can e-mail it to Vanessa and she’ll display it in the gallery for all to see! This one is not a contest…just a place to show others a favorite picture that you might have taken! You’ll find all the information you need to send a photo to her on the above link! Also, I was able to enter a photo in the contest at iliveinmycamera! I can’t tell you which one is mine, of course, that wouldn’t be fair to anyone, so go take a peek at the entries, and vote for your favorite!
Out of the mouth of babes….a little story I read today.A father wanted to read a magazine but was being tugged on by his little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Cutting out all of the states, he gave it to Shelby, and said,
“Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today.” After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map correctly fitted together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly.
“Oh, it was easy,” she said, “on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together.”
The Lord is faithful and wanting to do a mighty work in each of us.
He is so patient and tenderhearted.
“It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)You all have a terrific Tuesday! I’m going out to see the moon before I go to sleep! The night is clear, and it’s bright and beautiful right now! I love nights like this!
Hugs,
~ Deborah <><

Cute story… and lovely picture you took of rolling hills. I think I vote xangaland
:heartbeat:I believe most people call it Xangaville or Xangaland… ha!
It’s what you call the people in Xangaville that gets me… Xangians, Xangalians, Xanganites.. ha!
Have a great day, sweet lady!!
Hugs!
I just stopped by from Bestafly Gallery & noticed you have “blinkies”. How did you get them to go on the sides & not the bottom? Nice site you have! Peaceful & interesting!
:wave:You really have such a lovely site… the soothing music, the whole look, and the things that you share. I really love the picture you have in the gallery. It shows off several of God’s great greens palette. (my favorite color) I’ve always called it “Xangaland” ~ but any will do!
Thanks for the “Get human” site. I’ll have to share that with friends and family. I have read that story before, and it is a good one to teach a great truth. Have a wonderful week…. Carolyn:)
I didn’t even know about the eclipse until I read your message!!! LOL Shows how up on things I am, huh???!!! LOL
Thanks for the “get human” info! I will certainly check that out!
I loved the sandcastles in your previous post!!! BEAUTIFUL works of art!
Thanks for stopping by today! I am so far behind on commenting, it isn’t funny!! Hope to get caught up today!!:littlekiss:
thanks for the tip. I hate that, too. Thanks for your comments on my site. I appreciate your kind words.
RYC: I have some of my photos in photobucket. I use a link from it that allows me to make it my background pic and put the link in the Look & Feel. It still comes out in tiles, but I just didn’t change the size. I left it the size it is when I saved it in photobucket. That way it takes up most of the screen for the background.
I vote for Xanga Town. :giggle:
That’s a great story. I looked at the moon last night also, it was pretty!
I did see your picture. It was neat. I really like what Bestafly is doing.
I saw your picture and it was impressive. I do like what Bestafly is doing! I was going to kind of shape Buster into a hill and then put my feet in the picture, but well…. wasn’t really sure the humor would be appreciate. Besides, how do you make a cat look like a hill?
Hm, I think I tend to say Xangaland withough even thinking much about it, but I do like Xanga Town too! I love your picture on Betsafly gallery. After I saw that I decided to send her one of mine that I took in Alaska a year ago. My husband took me on a cruise and land tour, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! :fun:
:sunny:Good Morning! (((((((((Hugs)))))))))…………Thank You so much for your sweet and kind words! And for keeping Jess in your prayers. Last week God reminded me although he is mine (Jess) to raise and guide, He really is God’s child. And in time things will come together! I trust in His Word and know He will never fail me!…………..Have a Blessed Day! ………In Christ’s Love…..Monic:heartbeat:
:wha: Deep fried PEPSI???? and Snickers bars?
Now, that is just WRONG!!!!!! :nono:
That’s a great story! Jesus makes everything fit together right!
**I was all excited when I read about the eclipse, but then I later read that it will not be visible from Europe. Rats!** I’m glad you had a good and profitable weekend! ** We will be leaving in a couple of hours to pick up our friend who is coming for a visit from the States, so I best get the rest of my work done! Blessings, sweet lady!
I will be working right about then, I mean really working.
