  • under construction

    Bloggy boo-boos!
Well, I’m not the only one ‘under reconstruction’!
I’m working at changing things here on my site, but ran into a problem.
I’m having some trouble with the lower right module …
can’t figure out why it isn’t ‘transparent’ like the other ones!
Usually these ‘add-ons’ just fall right in with what you do on the other ones.
So, if anyone has any tips … pass them my way!
This happened the last time I changed things here,
and I can’t, for the life of me, remember what I did to fix it!
Besides, all that … I really hope each of you had a blessed New Year’s Day!
You all know what I did from reading my last post …
… it was a nice quiet day … and we didn’t get much snow either!
I think I’ll move to Alaska!!
Thank you all for your sweet comments, and I’ll be around to visit later on today …
and to finish up and fix the mess I’ve made of things here!
    Be blessed!
    Hugs ~ Deborah <><

The best we can hope for in this life is a knothole peek at the shining realities ahead.
    Yet a glimpse is enough.
It is enough to convince our hearts that whatever sufferings and sorrows
currently assail us aren’t worthy of comparison to that which waits over the horizon.

  • Ohhhhhhhhh…and yet another absolutely beautiful layout.  Simply beautiful!

I had a hard time fixing something on my site and emailed natalia-help@xanga.com - received help very quickly!  Maybe you could drop Natalia a line and get things resolved.

Hope to swing by and visit more later today!

    Blessings,

    Leslie

    It’s 2008 and ain’t the Lord great….

  • Hi Deborah:wave:

I just had to come by today & visit with ya & “catch up” on ya..i’ve missed visiting with ya!!!

I read your last 3 posts…& WOW what a lovely house! & to be near family too!!!!!!  I can’t wait to see the inside!!!  How many acres are you gonna have? SO NICE!!!  When hubby and i move we’re looking for something similar….but in PA…I am so estatic and excited for you!!  & that pic of you & hubby…that “mama & papa” pic is simply gorgeous of you & hubby…what a beautiful pic of you two!!!

I dunno what to tell you about that right module…girl i always need help myself LOL:lol:

I pray all is going well for you today as you sort through & purge what you need to purge:yes:

Have a wonderful day my friend:sunny:

    {{{HUGS}}}

    Jeanette:wink:

  • Don’t you just love it when people think you have Themes, when you have created your site with your own talent. I take that as a complement I think!!

  • Hi There, This is beautiful!! I think I know what the problem is. Right under your module title is suppose to be a little part of the module code and THEN the contents go below that. Look at the first module and see if you see it a difference.  If that is gone( that little part of the code)  then that is the problem. I have done the same thing and it took me a long time to figure it out. I finally just deleted them and put in a new code. That is when I saw the problem and what I did. I sure hope that helps. :) Sharon

  • :) I Like your new layout I dont know either what could be making that modual colord in. Sometimes xanga just gets me confused…LOL But I just keep trying until I acidently do something else cool and like it….LOL

  • That quote stood out more when I read who the author was.

  • Sorry, haven’t gotten brave enough to mess with the themes.  Plus, I don’t think they would allow my slide show and I HAVE to have that.  :)

    Loved your new years prayer.

Blessings for a super great 2008!
    Paula

  • Your site is looking beautiful ~

  • I think your new look is absolutely beautiful! I so wish I could meet you someday, because I am sure you are even more beautiful inside and out than the lovely looks you create here. :goodjob:  I am still trying to recover from the holidays. I don’t think I am totally caught up on sleep yet from all those late nights, and my body is constantly bugging me for a cookie! LOL! I have to fight that, because I actually think there still might be a few in the freezer.  We have just had some flurries on and off, but no real snow. Some years I never even need to wear boots in Denmark because we really don’t get much snow on Jylland where we live. In Northern Denmark it snows more, but since we have the sea all around us, that kind of tempers the weather. Blessings on your day, sweet lady!

  • not sure.  I’m sure you’ll get it though.  It is frustrating when it doesn’t do what we like lol.  It’s looking lovely over here.  Well It’s back to school today so I only have a sec to pop in.  Going to try and get mine changed today too.

    Later =]

p.s. the music is very relaxing :)

  • I have no clue about the set up here. Hope you have a great day today!

  • Well I am not much help in the computer department but I really like the teapots!!!! Love Joni…actually got to meet her once! And what a wonderfully encouraging thought!!!!
We are getting snowed in!!! It is over a foot and still falling!

  • :sunny:Good Morning Sweet Friend! The only thing I know about codes and to get the color off and transparent is to erase out the color ## and type in the word transp. Hope this works for you. If Not your site is looking very Lovely!………….Hope you have a Wonderful Day!……..((((Hugs))))……….In Christ’s Love……..Monic:heartbeat::love::heartbeat:

P.S. Alaska would be further to drive to than Indiana!

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
