I really appreciate all of your sweet comments on the last post! I am so blessed by all of you, and I pray that you’ll bear with me amidst all my ’bizyness’!! I have some time now, so I’ll catch you up a bit while I’m sitting here sipping my nice hot cup of International Coffees Dark Mayan Chocolate! It’s their new flavor, and now one of my favorites! I also like their Orange Cappucino … although I don’t drink a lot of this, it is a treat every now and then … my main hot drink is tea! Okay, quick recap … my sister, Pattie, came by this past week and helped me go through some things in the basement, {aka. ‘the dungeon’}. In about two hours time, we made a pretty good ’dent’ in it … I told her it might take just about forever to do this, but she said if she had just one day to herself down there, she’d have the basement all dealt with! And I know she would, too … she’s a ‘get-in-there-and-get-it-done’ kinda gal, top that off with a loving sweet spirit … well, she’d just do anything for you … she’s also got a great sense of humor if you’re ever feeling down … should have seen her with my son’s clown hat on … sure wish I’d a had my camera! {..next, time Sis!!} ‘A merry heart doeth good like a medicine’. I’m so very blessed to call her ‘sister’, and ‘friend’! I do so appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for all that I yet need to accomplish … which is no easy task! ‘I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me’!!
Buried under the biggest burden is a good place to find an even bigger blessing.

This past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we had a show scheduled, which was extremely busy … people must have gotten their tax checks early, or something!! It was a good show, and we are so thankful! As you know, there’s always expense during a move, and every little bit helps! Then today, my sister was going to come over but, I’m bone tired and just resting before we start in again with the P&P tomorrow … neither one of us felt much like tackling it today … she was feeling a bit under the weather herself! {FYI: P&P = purging and packing!} This coming weekend we have another show … a two day run, so we’re trying to get things together to take and sell there, along with the usual soap and coins.
Today, my hubby went to work with Bob … {that’s Tim’s dad, and you can see him in the previous entry photo} … the flooring business slows down this time of year, and Bob called to say he could use his help … we are thankful for that! Well, on the drive down … about an hour and a half away … something went wrong with the van, it was leaking anti-freeze, {mind you it’s about 23* here today} so he found a great mechanic in the area. Fortunately, it was only a hose that needed replacing, but unfortunately they can’t repair it until tomorrow morning, so he’ll be working late into the evening, then staying with Bob and family overnight … I’m hoping they don’t work too late before getting some sleep for another day of work tomorrow … he was pretty tired from this past weekend! Tonight, we had thought about going through more of the ‘dungeon’ downstairs … but instead, I’m catching up here, and then onto some much needed sleep! Well, that’s about it for now … I hope you all have a great evening, and an even better week! It’s cold here, and we’ve had a few snow flurries today. I’m going to get around to as many of you as I can each day/evening that time allows me, {and thank you for not forgetting about me!
) … but I wanted to leave you with a photo of something we came across in the basement that we had packed away! I’m wondering if I can find it on e-Bay and see how much to sell it for … unless any one of you might have a use for it!! Haven’t used it in quite sometime, but you know … it really worked for us! We saved lots of money on Ian’s haircuts … but I also liked cutting his hair with the scissors! Ian and I had fun using it … and Lewis … well, he preferred having it done with a bit more expertise and style … and with a little less noise!! You had to attach it to your vacuum cleaner! So, does anyone have any memories of the ‘FLOWBEE’? No? Well, here are a few!!
Till next time …..

Here’s a little demonstration to show you how it’s done …
