I know I haven’t been around much this week, but I’ll be back to fill you all in soon …
and also to do some much needed visiting and catching up with you!
Have a wonderful and blessed LORD’s Day!!
    Hugs ~ Deborah <><

Being that it is Sunday, and the LORD’s Day,
    here are a few …

    ~ ONE SENTENCE SERMONS ~

Be Ye Fishers of Men …. You catch ‘em, He’ll clean ‘em.

A family altar can alter a family.

A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.

Don’t put a question mark where God put a period.

Don’t wait for six strong men to take you to church.

Exercise daily. Walk with the Lord!

    Forbidden fruits create many jams.

Give God what’s right, not what’s left!

Give Satan an inch and he’ll be a ruler.

God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

God grades on the cross, not the curve.

God loves everyone, but probably prefers “fruits of the spirit”
    over “religious nuts.”

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

Having ‘truth’ decay?  Brush up on your Bible!

He who angers you, controls you!

He who is good at making excuses is seldom good for anything else.

He who kneels before God can stand before anyone!

Kindness is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory capacity.

Never give the devil a ride! He will always want to drive!

Nothing ruins the truth like stretching it.

Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.

“Pray” is a four letter word that you can say anywhere.

Prayer – Don’t give God instructions – just report for duty!

The Will of God will never take you to where the
Grace of God will not protect you.

    This Church is “Prayer Conditioned!”

To be almost saved is to be totally lost.

WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning!

Watch your step carefully! Everyone else does!

We don’t change the message; the message changes us.

We set the sail; God makes the wind.

We’re too blessed to be depressed.

    Wisdom has two parts:
    1.  Having a lot to say.
    2.  Not saying it!

    <><><><><><><>

    Lift up your eyes.
The heavenly Father waits to bless you –
in inconceivable ways to make your life what you never dreamed it could be.

  • Your web page is always so very pretty.  Do you give lessons?  <G>  May I copy your mini sermons on my web page and give you credit?  Gosh, I guess that’s almost a standing question – is all your stuff (at various times) up for grabs with proper credit given?  I don’t know where you find these gems, but really enjoy them.  Hope your week is wonderful and filled with blessings. :)

  • RYC: I am sure the birds appreciated that wonderful meal! LOL! We had an awesome day yesterday visiting our old church. Even after seven years away there were still lots of people who remember us and it was so cool! So many of the kids I had when I was a children’s pastor there are all grown up now, but they still had to have a hug from Pastor Mae! Sweet. The message was awesome, and seven people were saved! :sunny: I love that! There were also many at the altar for ministry, and the pastor invited my husband and I to help pray for people. It was cool being able to do all that in English, although it felt a little strange. :wha:  Today we have shopping to do and errands all over town, and we will be having dinner with some dear old friends this evening. Tomorrow we are going in to my daughter’s school to speak to her class. Wednesday we leave to visit my family who live about 2 hours from where we are now. Next Sunday we fly out of here, and Monday we will be back in Denmark. I know I will be a little sad for a while. I always miss people more after I have been with them!  Still, we have had a great time. Our daughter’s wedding was wonderful, and we have been able to see many friends, get lots of hugs, enjoy some great meals, and buy some much needed supplies. I pray you have a wonderfully, blessed day, my friend.

  • just wanted to say HELLO!! :) :hugs:

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
