    Simply …Hope

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.”
    ~ Jeremiah 29:11 ~

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened
in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you,
the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints,
and His incomparably great power for us who believe.”
    ~ Ephesians 1:18-19 ~

He who breathes into our hearts the heavenly hope,
will not deceive or fail us when we press forward to its realization.

    I trust you’re all having a wonderful weekend …
    {*did anyone feel the earthquake?}
Lots of other things happening here,
and I’ll be back tomorrow night, or Monday to post an update.
I’ve really missed visiting with you,
and I’ll be back very soon to catch up!
I pray that on this Lord’s Day, you are all abundantly blessed!

    Hugs,
    ~ Deborah <><

  • You’ve been on my heart today so just want to say I am lifting you in prayer.  He knows why He has you on my heart so I’ll just lift you up to Him and say “Love her daddy”.

  • :heartbeat:   My sweet friend. Prays for you : sunny:   . Hope you have a blessed day.  Blessing & love.  Tip

  • We felt the earthquake at the hospital where I work!

That scripture was used in our sermon yesterday.  Must be the word of the hour…….

    Have a wonderful week.  :sunny:

  • :heartbeat: Thanks for dropping by dear Deborah!  (you saw my lights on) cute!

Have a blessed day… talk to you soon!

  • We were surprised to see an Illinois earthquake. Glad all were ok.

  • I pray you are having a lovely Lord’s day. We didn’t feel the earthquake, of course, but I’ve been wondering if my family in IL did. I haven’t talked to them in a few days, so I don’t know.

I’m trusting you are having a blessed day in the Lord and that it’ll overflow throughout the week.  No earthquake here in the west but we did wake up to some snow yesterday. It was melted by noon though and today is sunny and the daffodils are still standing tall.

    Miss you too sweetie!

  • Hi Deborah!!! Have a good Sunday whatever you do! Thanks for the verses and quote about “hope.” Very comforting!Oh My…we have the full service church meeting this morning!!! About 6 or 8 songs, a baby dedication, prayers, birthdays, a visiting preacher, and a wedding!!! All we needed was a baptism and communion! But it was all good LOL! We have a rather ugly meeting place in the hall of a Technological museum with shabby chairs and curtains etc. It is interesting to me that they have weddings on Sunday and how the brides make great efforts to decorate and try to make it look festive in there!
Beautiful summery weather outside this afternoon…Bindi and I just went for a walk in the park.

  • Praying you have a blessed Lords day as well. No shaking going on in Maine from the quake, I am thankful for that it sounds scary.

  • :sunny:Hope you and Lewis have a Blessed Lord’s Day!…………In Christ’s Love……

  • Jeremiah 29:11 is one one of my favorite passages. Have a great Sunday!

  • I pray you have a blessed Sunday, too. I hope the sun is shining where you are. It is here! :sunny:  We will be off to church in a few moments. Pea Hater is preaching today! Often when he preaches I am with the kids, but today I am off so I can be with the “big people!” I look forward to hearing what God has spoken to his heart this morning.  Today is also hubby’s birthday, so we expect to be getting calls all day long. I know the girls will call, and he has alread gotten lots of cards. Anyway….. have an awesome worship-filled day, my friend.

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
