Someone sent this to me recently, and it came just when I needed it … God very often does things like that.
I wanted to share it with you … read it slowly, and think on each one of these.

~ THE WILL OF GOD ~

The will of God will never take you,
Where the grace of God cannot keep you.
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the army of God cannot protect you,
Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you,
Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the omni presence of God cannot find you.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Well, it’s been a few days since I’ve posted, so I thought I’d better let you all know what’s been happening since Saturday.  Sunday started out as a very warm, but, beautiful day, and we went to church and had a wonderful morning.  A blessing to share with you … a while back, my vacuum sweeper finally bit the dust, so to speak … we tried fixing it, but to no avail, so I was using my sister’s.  Well, I had mentioned this to a group of friends from church, a week ago … and this past Sunday, one of those very thoughtful friends brought me one of her extras to keep, complete with vacuum bags … have you seen the price of those lately?!  I, for one, have never had an extra vacuum cleaner, at least not one that worked anyway, but I’m sure blessed that she did!  It’s a very nice one, too, heavy duty!  Look out now, you dustbunnies … here I come!!  I love the way God sends forth blessings along the way in our lives, like that!  He so longs to bless His children.  So, do tell, what blessings has He sent your way lately?

*We’ve also had a major health concern for a very close family friend, who is very dear to our hearts, as is her family.  We went to visit her in the hospital Sunday afternoon.  I’m not at liberty to go into much detail here, but I’m asking for ‘corporate’ prayer for our precious Elizabeth.  She’s been in the hospital since last Wednesday, and we are all very concerned for her.  God knows every detail of this situation, and I know He will direct your prayers for her healing.  Your prayers are so very appreciated by all of us, right now.  She is also a childhood friend of Ian’s, and he may be coming home soon to see her … as soon as this weekend!

On a final note … I hope you’re all having a good week.  Things are much quieter, and cooler today.  We had an odd sort of storm come through a couple of nights ago, where the lightning was constantly flashing for quite a while, causing some house fires north of us … but again, the Lord protected us through it all!  It did blow in some cooler air the next day, which we gladly welcomed with open windows!!   It’s such a nice change from the 3-H’s … hazy, hot, and humid!  We may dodge those again the rest of the week!  We have an all church pitch-in this coming Sunday … and I’m trying to think of something yummy to take … any ideas?  I’ve missed you all, and I’m hoping to get around the next couple of days to catch up.  Have a blessed day in Him!

    Hugs,
       ~ Deborah <><

Trust is faith that has become absolute, approved, and accomplished.
When all is said and done, there is a sort of risk in faith and its exercise.
But trust is firm belief; it is faith in full bloom.
Trust is a conscious act, a fact of which we are aware.

  • Neat poem. I’m so thankful for the cooler (namely, less humid) weather too! Will keep Elizabeth in my prayers.

  • I like that about God’s will too. Hope you have a great day. Watch out dust bunnies. I have decided to make pets of the dust bunnies……… not really.

  • So glad the storms routed themselves around you once again!!! Praise God!!!

What a nice gift for someone to give to you!!!  I love it when God does things like that!!! I am one that needs to “wait on the Lord” more often, instead of just going out and buying something just when I need it!  I have been reading and listening a lot lately about financial matters, and one of the things that i have been reading about is delayed gratification.

It simply means putting off buying something, even IF we can afford to buy it.  It allows a blessing to come through another persons life by God being able to use them to bless us!  Isnt’ that an awesome thought?  Our patience may pay off in someone else being blessed!!! I love it!

Love you girl…have a BLESSED DAY, and I will most certainly keep your friend in my prayers!  By the Blood of Jesus’, I pray healing into her body now, in Jesus’ precious name!!  Oh Jesus, we, on the outside of this girls circle of family & friends, stand together now in prayer and ask that you bless this young womans’ body with divine healing!  Give the doctors wisdom Lord, and her family, peace!

Comfort her loved ones Lord during this time of trial and suffering.  Show Your beauty Lord to those who may not know you Lord.  Allow them to see Your power in a way they have never seen before!

Comfort this young woman Lord, as well.  Give her peace that You are in control, and YOU have the ability to heal her body because of the precious stripes Jesus’ took upon His back, Lord.  For each stripe He took Lord, every sickness and disease must be GONE, in Jesus’ name!

We give you thanks and praise Lord for the miracle you are performing in this young woman’s life!  We anxiously await the good news!

Together, we pray in Jesus’ name!  AMEN!

  • That’s a great poem about the will of God. Certainly something we all need to remember! ~~ I have missed you, friend! ~~ So sorry your friend is having health issues. God knows. May His healing hand touch her today, this very moment! ~~ We have been busy! Mostly just having fun, which is a nice thing, yeah? Yesterday we went with some friends from church to a Lion Safari theme park. More photo ops! LOL! It was a perfect day, and I enjoyed getting up close to the animals. A giraffe tried to eat the antenna on our car! I still am not done posting pictures from Norway, and now I have lots more from yesterday. This camera is a blessing and a curse. HA! Poor Pea Hater is developing a nervous tic because when we are riding in the car, I am always yelling STOP!!! cuz I see something I want to photograph.  ~~  I am sure it would be great to see your boy, although the reason he may come is not so nice. ~~ My daughter and her husband are in Puerto Rico on a mini vacation. I hope they are having a good time. They are staying with David’s grandparents who speak no English! Hmmm…. ~~ My other daughter and her husband have been traveling around the U.S. visiting friends who used to work with them at Metro Ministries. It won’t be long now until their move to Northern Ireland, and their stop here to visit us. YAY! ~~ You know me… I could keep up the blab indefinitely, but my work is calling! Love you!:heartbeat:

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
