Blog Button Valentine Heart LeftGod hedges in His own that He may preserve them, but oftentimes they only see the wrong side of the hedge, and so misunderstand His dealings.  It was so with Job (Job 3:23).  Ah, but Satan knew the value of that hedge!  See his testimony in chapter 1:10.  Through the leaves of every trial there are chinks of light to shine through.  Thorns do not prick you unless you lean against them, and not one touches without His knowledge.  The words that hurt you, the letter which gave you pain, the cruel wound of your dearest friend, shortness of money — are all known to Him, who sympathizes as none else can and watches to see, if, through all, you will dare to trust Him wholly.

  • I love this post!  “if we dare to wholly trust Him”……pretty heavy statement.  I wonder if in my life, I dare to trust Him “wholly”, in ALL things.  I sure hope I do.  It’s hard to know for sure, sometimes.

I hope all is well with you and Lewis.  How was your recent visit with Ian?

Wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you today!!! :littlekiss:

  • hey mrs. smith!

  • Thanks for stopping by. I use to go to Curves with a friend when we lived in Reno. It was fun! You will love it. The only thing is I joined up and let them  charge my credit card monthly for the fee. Getting them to stop charging my credit card was awful!!  So I wound up paying for many months and was not able to go. So I would recommend paying by the month. If you decide to quite for some reason, like an illness or a pulled muscle you are not sill paying. Things happen in life that are unfore seen as you know. It is a good workout if you put the effort into it. Hope that helps. Prayers and blessing to you Deborah! Hugs!:heartbeat: Sharon

  • Judith Pella is a great writer too. I am going to tell you though, she has a way of leaving you hanging too. Fortunately, I think she completed that series. I am thinking there were two sets of trilogys that sort of went together. It has been a long time sinse I have read them.

Good thoughts here. Hope you have a good day!

quote and verse

Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation.
- Andrew Murray -

God often comes to us,
not in dramatic and the spectacular,
but in quiet, unexpected ways ...
In a still, small voice,
a gentle whisper,
God makes known His love.

In quietness and trust
is your strength.
Isaiah 30:15

Pleasure, possessions, power, and privilege are ultimately worthless in comparison to the indescribable
joy of knowing GOD!!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalm 32:8
