Hope you’re all having a great Friday! You’re probably wondering why I’m here in the middle of the day, when we were supposed to be doing a show (?) … well, our plans changed! My husband’s overnight trip to Chicago, on Wednesday, took two days … something came up that slowed their progress, and they had to stay another night in order to finish, so, he’s just now getting home this afternoon. They worked until 4:00AM, and then, with very little sleep the day before, he headed back early, in order to stop at another jobsite on the way home … he didn’t tell me he was doing that … he knew I’d worry and tell him to stay and sleep for a few more hours. To make me feel better, he said he had some strong coffee, and that he felt wide awake … well, when I just talked to him, he didn’t sound tired at all. I am thankful that he did make it home early … right now there are some tornado warnings out for the area he was in, and there are supposed to be storms heading in right where he would have been driving had he worked longer, and slept before he started back. So, I’m very blessed that God gave him strength to get home before the storms arrived.
A little bit ago they posted the tornado warnings for our area, from now until 3:00AM … it’s very warm, windy, muggy, partly sunny, but you can just ’feel’ the storms moving in. We’ve been pretty fortunate here this spring, when it comes to the weather, but they’re saying we may not miss this one later today, and tonight. Say a prayer that it doesn’t get too bad. I know it seems like everyday, somewhere is getting hit hard. In the midst of all this, there’s an outdoor graduation ceremony tonight for our little niece, Cassie. She’s graduating from Kindergarten to First Grade … with cap and gown included! Too cute! I’m hoping we’ll be able to go if the weather isn’t too bad, and if DH isn’t too tired … eventually this will all catch up with him! And another thing … there’s also the Men’s Retreat at church tonight, and tomorrow, which he really wanted to go to, but we had the show scheduled this weekend. He may try to stop in over at the church later on tonight for a bit of fellowship after the ceremony … some of the guys are staying overnight, but he’ll come home, then go back in the morning for the breakfast, and the rest of Saturday’s sessions then. We live 10 minutes from the church which makes it very convenient.
Beyond the Men’s Retreat tomorrow afternoon, I’m not sure what our plans are for this weekend. Everything changed so suddenly … but, whatever we do, I’ll fill you in later. I have noticed, while typing this, that one by one, my songs are disappearing from the playlist below!I’ll need to work on that now, again! I’ve enjoyed that music here, so I hope I can get some of those songs back. Well, that’s all for now … need to get some dinner on the table. I do hope you all have a great evening, and a very blessed weekend, and, of course, I’ll get around to see how you’re all doing, as well!
Hugs,
~ Deborah <><
A Surrendered Heart
We find God more readily
in the silence of a surrendered heart
than in the whirlwind of a busy world.
The LORD was not in the wind.
The LORD was not in the earthquake.
The LORD was not in the fire.
And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
- I Kings 19:11-12 -

So glad to hear the storms have past you by. To get that border just click on the header,(the long bar above your maincontent) put your picture url in, click on “border”,make the kind you like. Then click on “dimensions “and you can play around with that. click on the arrow, next to where is says topleft and “center” it. To make it like mine hit ”all direction”. Hope that works for you.
I can click on make your own theme but when I hit save it just sits there on processing it. It won’t do anything. I am so frustrated with it! Can you go on past that part?
When you do get to make your own theme. Just hit “share this theme” and it goes to the theme directory. Now you are a designer of themes. Neat huh? If you can get it to work! It is a xanga problem as I have another friend that is having the same problem. Please let me know if it is working for you.
Have fun at the zoo!! Blessings Sharon
Just heard there were tornado’s in your neck of the woods. Just wanting to make sure you are okay????? Drop me a message so I know you are, if you can. We will all be praying in the meantime for those who were hit by the storms. Let us know you are okay!!!
I hate that too.. I have a playlist on my myspace page.. I’m always having to go make sure some of my favorites haven’t disappeared..

Hello my friend, Hope everything went well and the weather was good for you and you got to do all you were looking forward to. We had the yard sale today and it went really well. Now we must get the rest of things packed up and move on to our next appointment. Have a Blessed day, Charlene
Hello, Sweet Friend! :sunny: It’s a beautiful day here in Denmark! Pea Hater worked on his Sunday sermon all morning, and then we went out to a couple second hand shops. We like to poke around and see what we can see. I found some tiny little cups which look like glass, but are actually painted wood. When our little 2 year old grand daughter is over she always wants to play with my china stuff (I collect Chinese blue on white dishes) so now I can give her these little cups to play with. I think she will be happy with that. I also found a couple books I wanted, but they cost more than I wanted to pay.
Do you have a shelter or some place to go when there are storm warnings? Having never lived in any part of the country where there are tornados, I don’t know what to do at all! I pray you will be save and well, and that your honey will get rested up. Have a beautiful weekend. Love you!

Praying those storms don’t bring the harsh weather they are predicting! I hope you have a great weekend! I’m sorry i haven’t been around lately. I get back to work and get very busy. I hope all is well! Love, Lish
I will say a prayer for the weather there. We are supposed to have severe storms tomorrow afternoon. Have a good weekend.
Yes, the sky is starting to look a little ominous to the north! We are going to a homeschool graduation ceremony tonight, the one that our son WOULD have been in if he hadn’t gone on his summer adventure already. So I know it’s going to be emotional. I’m happy for the other families though. I hope the storms can hold off til later!! Hope your weekend is great.
